We are an INDEPENDENT mixed practice seeking an experienced Small Animal Vet to join our friendly team with the confidence to take sole charge.

As a practice we strive to combine the provision of exceptional, bespoke care with progressive current best practice in veterinary medicine, providing the usual toys.

Our growing team of 22 vets across all departments are down to earth, friendly and willing to share their wealth of expertise to make you feel a valued member of the team.

We take pride in caring for our own patients out of hours on an equally shared 1:5 rota.

Veterinary Nurse

We are looking for an energetic, driven and resourceful full-time registered veterinary nurse to join our friendly team.

We are the main branch of a 3-branch mixed practice based in rural Rutland, close to beautiful Rutland water and the lovely market towns of Uppingham and Oakham. Our progressive team of vets are very respectful of RVN’s professional expertise, and active involvement in cases is encouraged and supported. You will be given the freedom to develop your nursing skills in your particular areas of interest.

In return for your hard work we offer a salary of 19-23k pro rata based upon experience, plus a monthly sales bonus scheme, staff discounted veterinary treatment, professional fees paid, encouraged and funded CPD, a company pension scheme and a half-day off after your weekend on call.

Working hours are 38-40 hours per week covering 8-hour shifts between 8am and 7pm, 1 weeknight on call per week and 1 weekend in 5 on call.
