Morven graduated from the University of Bath with a BSc in Applied Biology having spent her industrial placement year as a trainee zookeeper at Chester Zoo. She went on to obtain a PhD in domestic pig behaviour from Bristol University, and later to work as a Research Fellow, studying social behaviour in domestic pigs and laying hens at the Royal Veterinary College until 2008.
After qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse, Morven moved to Rutland Veterinary Centre in 2013 where she particularly enjoys surgical nursing and diagnostic imaging. Morven became Head Nurse in 2018. She also loves being a Clinical Coach, which involves supporting and training student veterinary nurses in practice.

Outside of work, Morven runs, practices yoga and plays clarinet in a local concert band. She enjoys spending time with her two young girls, her husband, her rescue cat Sophie and Cocker Spaniel Pip.
