Registered Veterinary Nurse - 30-40 hours

This is an opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Uppingham branch, 30-40 hours per week (min 1 year experience)

We are proud to say that we have recently achieved hospital status at our Uppingham practice and as such are expanding our team.
We welcome applications from candidates who are keen to be involved in all aspects of small animal veterinary nursing, bringing new ideas and motivation to the current close-knit team.
A number of our RVNs are certificate holders; we actively encourage and fund these. In addition to a generous personal CPD allowance, we hold regular in-house CPD days for the whole team to continually improve and advance our standards. The whole team has access to Vetstream.
We pride ourselves on providing our own out-of-hours service to our clients at our Uppingham practice, where we have recently been granted hospital status through the RCVS practice standards scheme. With dedicated night nurses, there are no weeknights on call in this role. However, participation in our 1:5 Saturday and Sunday day rota, along with an equal share of bank holidays is expected.
Our full-time nurses work 4 days a week on an 8:30am – 6:30pm shift pattern with paid lunch breaks. Rotating between inpatient, theatre and consulting roles throughout the week, nurses can get involved in a varied caseload of small animals.
